| The Shilpa society is acutely aware of the need for
a respite centre and a residential center. The society plans to expand the
activities at the vocational unit. It has planned to start horticulture,
tailoring unit etc. As most of our parents are from low socioeconomic background
we plan to involve many parents too in the programme so that these families
would be benefited The Society plans to have parent training programmes
which would be first of its kind in Kerala where parents could come and
stay at the centre with their wards and undergo training for 2-3 months. |
