Parent Counseling Center

The society believes that parents are the most important people for a mentally challenged person or child and strives to empower them .Free parent counselling is being provided by the society. This service is listed in popular newspapers and many parents from different parts of the state have been benefited.

Parent counseling center can assist parents to cope with the trauma of their child's disability and provide guidance to effectively cope with the needs of their disabled child. Home management training is also part of this programme.

The Society plans to have parent training programmes which would be first of its kind in Kerala. A respite care which would help the parents to leave their child for a short period of time at the center is also planned.
